A company who designs, manufactures and distributes many well known and respected brands in car audio, OEM and commercial vehicle solutions, vehicle security, AV, Bluetooth music streaming, cabling and connectivity are looking for a Web Manager to join their team.
As Web Manager you will report into the Marketing Director and your role will be to implement the company web strategy, and day to day management of the web project, to include:
• Liaison with our external ecommerce partner, internal Marketing and IT teams, and other departments, to produce the completed B2B integrated ecommerce solution, to budget and timescales
• Content and Data management – assembly or creation and delivery of all content, including images, product descriptions, written content, etc
• Migration and update of existing multiple websites to form a coherent corporate B2B and B2C web presence
• Ongoing site maintenance and updates, including regular publication of new products to the website
• SEO – implement and drive Search Engine Optimisation
• Initiate and drive New Media programmes, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, Blogs, PPC, viral marketing etc
• B2B sales promotions
• Reporting and web analytics
As Web Manager you will be used to working with both Apple Mac and PC environments and will have the following skills:
• Adobe - Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, Flash CS3, Dreamweaver CS3
• HTML and XHTML hand-coding
• A excellent understanding of CSS
• Understanding of cross browser/platform compatibility
• Web Graphics – the ability to create and optimise graphics for the web
• SEO - Experience of SEO techniques and campaigns
• Web Analytics – to report on web usage patterns, including Google Analytics.
• Data Management experience - Databases and back end connectivity
• Copywriting – the ability to write effective copy for web use
• Video & sound editing experience would be a bonus
The ideal Web Manager will have the following skills and experiences:
• Must have demonstrable experience within a similar role
• Experienced in all aspects of web design and web marketing, you’ll be able to demonstrate your previous experience and projects
• You’ll be used to working to tight deadlines, within brand guidelines, with good attention to detail
• Have excellent written and communications skills
• Web, Design and Marketing skills are all needed
• An appreciation of cars and music would be a bonus
Salary is dependant upon experience and benefits include contributory pension, private health scheme, death in service and free car parking.
